At Just Cornish Ltd, we’re more than just a bakery — we’re a family-run business with a deep love for Cornwall and its rich food culture. Founded by mother and son duo Helen and Sean, our mission is simple:

Celebrate local flavours, support small Cornish businesses, and create handmade baked goods that bring joy.

Our Story

It all started with a big idea and a leap of faith during the Covid pandemic in 2020.

Sean had long dreamed of building something meaningful — a business that allowed him to support his family, create jobs in the local community, and do what he loved. Helen, who had always been passionate about baking and quality ingredients, was all in.

Together, they launched Just Cornish Ltd from a unit in Fraddon. What began as a wholesale venture quickly grew into something more: a shop, a team, a loyal customer base — and now, online, shipping Cornwall’s finest straight to your door.

Sean

The one with the big idea on starting Just Cornish Ltd in the hope to create a business that celebrates Cornwall.

Being a dad of 2 beautiful babies, Jude and Winter, I love the flexibility of being my own boss. Whilst business has its demands nothing really compares to making your own decisions. I love spending time with my loved ones and also love a cheeky trip to explore different cultures and scenery.

Helen

The one that just went along with the idea, Helen is the head of production at Just Cornish.

I am always thinking and working on ways to improve the products we serve. Coming up with new ideas with our team and producing some amazing products. I love spending time with my family and also my extended family at Just Cornish. 

  • We believe that small details make a big difference. From 3D-printing our own unique scone cutters to handmaking every batch of shortbread, everything we produce is done with care, creativity, and Cornish pride.
